I realize that a Jacob’s Ladder isn’t really that impressive, its mostly just an intro for the link I’m about to post. And I wanted to see what it would look like, the white string with my cadmium nails. I found a man on youtube who must be some cat’s cradle yogi or something, he twists his hands so fast with the string and makes bridges so intricate I cannot possibly describe it. Or its just to early for me to be forming sentences.

This video, shows him making a huge knot and then its not, a knot.

This one is a really beautiful shape, a banana tree? can you imagine what it would be like to do this?! I could have been the coolest girl in the second grade!

Below, Marshall’s handwork turned into the perfect package trimmings. Turns out Crayola makes a really good and bright set of watercolors. Note for my mom, notice the “m” figures in the lower package. . . courtesy of her instruction. Oh yes, and I like these packages on udder, they are so simple and nice.

Presents! The real fun is in giving, but getting is nice too of course…
The whale from the last post is really great. That sort of fits the ‘White Whale Studios’ theme as well.
    Merry Christmas!
