A little silver and many needles

Rearranged the entire gallery at White Whale today (all day) with Sarah and Caroline. . . it looks good! Tomorrow is the big night, I am so not ready! These evergreen ornaments are so ready though, I drew them over Thanksgiving, and then strung them with strings and scattered silver pieces over them via brush, paint and scotch tape (yes, scotch tape) stencils. I love them! I hope other people will. . .

Just in time for metallic inspiration. . . I know its just an UO catalog, but I really love this one, I love the blingy party duds, yes I said blingy party duds. They are PartyParty by Confettisystem. . . I remember seeing some small photos of a fabulous silver pinata in Domino (sigh). So finally, some full full page spreads for oogling.
I’ve never got on with the word “oogling.” I always mentally change it whenever I read it. And I almost missed it here. But googling didn’t make sense in context.

speaking of things blingy or metallic-y - i have seen that American Apparel have started doing lame legging for kids. i am sorely tempted to get some for Iris, but is it too much?
Annie, these evergreens are fabulous. I love the perspective you gave them. They would look very good done as prints for the wall—without the hang tags, I mean—the idea reborn as a matted and framed grouping. Just a thought.
yeaah, and you know what, they would also look great done on slabs of slate or rough wood…. i just love these branches
