Mountain for a white palette

A couple nights ago I got a huge package. It was raining and sleeting and the poor man that carried it to my porch! I had to take a photo of the crazy amount of wrapping that went into the safe delivery of my lamp. Isn’t it ridiculous!? The box was over three feet across, and so much plastic around another box inside and then every little part of that lamp had its own cardboard armor. I feel a bit guilty.

The lamp! Bought with some Christmas money, it is one of the only new things furnishing my house. I love it. It is exactly what I wanted, I actually picked it out and paid full price. I normally bring home the best thing I can find at a thriftstore (which I don’t mind at all), but old things just look better when they are paired with a clean, white palette.
