White, thick and soft

Marshall took a long nap after visiting this colorful household. . . and I pushed coasts of creamy white paint around my drawings. I love the dry powdery feel of the paint and the slight shadows of the strokes. These will not be shiny, they have many coats of fixative on the drawings and the wonderous Ben Moore Aura paint can withstand crowds of fingertips. I still need to attach the hoops for hanging and figure out the necklace part. . .

Below, this quilt, wedding present from a sister who has good taste, is part of the inspiration that sprouted these little works.
