Annie and I are really happy to be a part of Poppytalk’s Holiday Market, starting today!  Check out our Koelle Art Shop table here. And the Sweet Ride table here! The marketplace runs through December 18th, and with so many beautiful things together all in one place, it’s quite literally a one-stop shop to find awesomely unique gifts for every single person on your shopping list this year. Seriously, it’s almost unhealthy how much time (and money) you can potentially spend looking through all of the stuff from all the wonderful vendors.  Just try to keep it together, okay?

I’m also happy to have these Christmas cards available that I designed a while back at Portland Studios. It’s one of my favorite little pieces I’ve ever done.  I just had such a fun time researching and doing the drawings. It’s my little take on the lyrics of the song we all know so well, The Twelve Days of Christmas. Whether it’s historically accurate or not, I love the traditional symbolism of the gifts, and really enjoyed making the art.

Go ahead and have your own little research time and google the lyrics and symbolism, if you’re so inclined. It’s fun.  Quantities are very limited, so pick up a 12-pack at the Etsy shop before they’re all gone!

    Hi Chris!
This drawing is one of my favorites of yours. This one and the Prodigal Son. Very inspired.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving, and a Merry Christmas!
(Is it too early to say that?)
    -Will

Just discovered some of your work.
I really love the birds, as well as “torah” in the middle of the 12 days…
