Yes, its an established fact. I do love owls. Not the popular indie cartoony kind really. . . the real ones that love trees and old bony buildings and things that hide in rustley grasses. I think it started a little bit when I was a kid , my uncle worked at a wildlife center, Hawk Creek. You could find the volunteers in malls and festivals standing with little owls, hawks and eagles perched on their big leather gloves.
Still not quite finished with it. . .almost.
There will be more, I’m sure of it.
Awesome. I wonder if you could use those black walnuts as a medium…
that’s not a bad idea. . . i do like the color they leave behind. . .as long as its not on clothing. . .
i often fall asleep listening to the call of owls that live in the woods behind our house. and last week, Paul was out on his bike and a snowy white owl swooped down over his head and flew out in front illuminated by his bike light and they rode/flew together for a while. amazing, huh? so this gets a big thumbs up from me. it’s beautiful.
wow, that really sounds like a wonderful experience. when I was a kid would hear the owls as I went to sleep too…I’m sort of sad I haven’t heard one ever since we moved to SC.
